My name is Rachael Bark, I am a qualified, registered and accredited counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

My practice is in Glastonbury, Somerset.  I work with individuals on a one to one basis.  I offer short-term counselling and longer term psychotherapy. I accept patients from GPs, EAP’s and from insurance companies. I am an approved provider of counselling for Aviva Insurance.

Glastonbury is within easy reach of Street, Wells, Wedmore, the Polden villages, Frome, Shepton Mallet and is 15 miles from Yeovil. Burnham on Sea, Highbridge and Weston Super Mare are about 20 miles away.

I work with clients who present a range of problems. Often the problem has been present for a very long time.  Depression, self esteem, confusing thoughts, behaviours and doubts are all valid reasons for seeking some support. Sometimes a client knows that ‘something isn’t right’ – without knowing quite what it is.

Working with a therapist can help to unearth what those feelings are trying to tell us, where they may have come from and what we need to do to help us to cope.
